Fund Appeal
We are so excited about the theme of the 2010 Annual Fund Drive-”Together
We Can” – for it emphasizes the partnership between home, school, church
and community. As parents we are the primary teacher of our children,
but few of us can do the job well without help. Our school is a
partnership- working together to provide our children with a challenging
educational experience in a safe and wholesome environment where Christ
is at the center of our everyday lives. “Together we can.”
The Annual Fund Drive continues to be a primary vehicle for our Solomon
family to join together in a meaningful effort to support the school.
Your support allows Solomon to remain in operation and remain accessible
to families who want their children to receive a Christian based
education. With tuition covering only a portion of the school’s
expenses, annual donations are a vital link to the financial stability of
the school. The annual campaign helps to support academic programs,
faculty salaries, physical operation costs and financial assistance to
those in need. The 2010 Annual Fund Goal is to raise $45,000 in
contributions. Forty thousand will be directed toward school general
operating expenses and five thousand to the Meyer Financial Aid Fund.
You may be aware that the school has responded aggressively to the
financial challenges so many of us are facing today. Over the past two
years SLS has made significant strides in addressing a budget deficit;
however, we must do more. Successful fund raising is an integral part of
the solution. We are asking for your help. Whether you are considering
a donation of $5 or $2,500, remember that every gift makes a difference.
It is our hope that you will prayerfully consider contributing to Solomon
Lutheran School and the future of each of our students during this year’s
Annual Fund Drive. To make a donation simply write your check to Solomon
